Organization Overview
For Others raises awareness and empowers best-in-class organizations to end the child welfare crisis in America. We partner with donors, nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies to form a Collective that holistically addresses the crisis on all fronts. Through the power of the Collective, we can end the child welfare crisis within our lifetime.
Our strategy includes preventing children from entering foster care, recruiting and retaining ideal foster families, and community empowerment. Together, we can help children and families go from crisis to stability to thriving.
We are a young, fast-growing collective of talented and passionate individuals who come to work because we want to help craft a better future for America’s vulnerable children. We care about our mission, our values, and our people. We pray together, play together, and plan together everyday towards the goal of seeing every child restored into safe and stable relationships.
What We Believe
In essentials – unity.
“There is one Body and one Spirit…there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all…” Ephesians 4:4-6
In non-essentials – liberty.
“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters…Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? In all things – charity.
